Supporting Fertility Naturally, Without Medication
Reducing stress, improving sleep, calming the nervous system, and rediscovering the joy of becoming a father.
Mr. Tran Van Quang, currently living and working in the Russian Federation, sent a thank-you letter to Expert Nguyen Manh Quan and the Center after participating in the "Igniting a New Vitality" course from October 3 to October 5, 2014.
Before attending the course, Mr. Quang experienced multiple health issues simultaneously: cervical herniated disc, cerebrovascular dysregulation, sympathetic nervous system disorder, dizziness, loss of balance, insomnia, night sweats, shortness of breath, and fear of going to sleep. After many medical examinations and treatments at hospitals in Russia and Vietnam without the desired improvement, he learned about Expert Nguyen Manh Quan's program through the "Secrets of Creation" program broadcast on VTV3, and then decided to register for the course.
What makes Mr. Quang's story particularly special is that after the course, he not only felt his health stabilize, slept better, and reduced dizziness and loss of balance, but also later sent a second letter from the Russian Federation, sharing his family's great joy: after nearly 10 years of infertility, his family welcomed a healthy baby boy.
The days before the course: insomnia, dizziness, and fear of night
In his first letter, Mr. Quang wrote that his health condition had made him very worried. He suffered from cervical herniated disc, cerebrovascular dysregulation, sympathetic nervous system disorder, and especially dizziness, loss of balance, particularly at night when sleeping.
There were nights when he had night sweats, felt unable to breathe, had to turn on the lights and sit for hours because he was afraid to sleep. For someone who has experienced insomnia and nighttime panic, just the onset of darkness can become a pressure. The body is tired but the mind is afraid to let go. The more afraid of sleep, the more tense the body becomes; the more tense, the more difficult sleep becomes.
Sleep plays an important role in physical and mental health. The CDC recommends that adults typically need at least 7 hours of sleep per night; sleep deficiency can affect alertness, mood, concentration, and overall health. (CDC) [https://www.cdc.gov/sleep/about/index.html]
From the 65th floor of the Lotte building to the experience of change after the course
One day before the course, Mr. Quang went up the 65-floor Lotte building in Hanoi. When he reached the top, his legs and body could barely walk due to loss of balance, an unbearable feeling, and a sensation of nearly fainting.
After three days of attending the course, listening to the Teacher's lectures and practicing EFT therapy, he returned to that building again. This time, he felt completely normal, energized, and joyful. For him, this was a very significant experience, as it showed that his body and nervous system could change when practicing the right methods.
Feelings of dizziness, loss of balance, palpitations, night sweats, and shortness of breath at night can have many different causes, from vestibular, neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory issues, anxiety disorders, prolonged stress, to conditions requiring specialist evaluation. Therefore, mind-body methods such as EFT, self-hypnosis, and deep relaxation should be understood as supportive approaches for regulating stress, emotions, and body responses, not as replacements for medical diagnosis.
EFT and the ability to calm the nervous system
In the "Igniting a New Vitality" course, Mr. Quang learned EFT and applied this method to himself. EFT is commonly introduced as a method combining focus on an emotional issue or symptom, using a setup phrase, and gently tapping on certain points on the body.
From a mind-body perspective, EFT can help practitioners name their fears, bring attention to the body, create a rhythmic tapping action, combine it with positive self-talk, and calm the stress response. For some people, when the nervous system becomes less vigilant, feelings of dizziness, fear, stress, breathlessness, or anxiety may decrease.
NCCIH, part of the NIH, states that relaxation techniques such as self-hypnosis, guided imagery, breathing exercises, and progressive muscle relaxation can help the body produce the relaxation response, typically accompanied by slower breathing, calmer heart rate, and reduced stress response. Returning to restful sleep and waking up refreshed
After the course, Mr. Quang shared that he "recovered completely and sleeps very well," waking up feeling refreshed. For someone who was afraid to sleep, had to keep lights on at night due to breathlessness, being able to sleep well again was a very significant change.
When sleep improves, the body has better time to recover. Mental state brightens, emotions stabilize, and the ability to withstand pressure increases. For many people, sleep is the starting point of the entire mind-body recovery process.
Self-hypnosis, deep relaxation, slow breathing, and positive suggestions before sleep can help learners break the "fear of insomnia – more tension – harder to sleep" loop. When the body learns to relax, sleep can come more naturally.
Helping family members and people around
After learning, Mr. Quang not only practiced on himself but also applied the methods to others. He shared that he helped 3 people with motion sickness who previously could not ride in cars, and they experienced clear improvement. He also used EFT to support his mother who had knee pain, and guided his wife — a teacher who often suffered from headaches — to practice therapy to feel lighter.
This amazed his entire family. For him, the method was like a gift: not only helping himself overcome long-standing issues but also giving him the ability to care for his loved ones.
Motion sickness, headaches, knee pain, and physical symptoms can have many different causes. When symptoms persist, worsen, or affect function, patients still need medical evaluation. However, relaxation methods, breath regulation, anxiety reduction, and attention shifting can help some people feel more comfortable in situations related to stress or nervous system responses.
The second letter from the Russian Federation: stress release and the joy of having a child
In his second letter sent from the Russian Federation, Mr. Quang shared an even greater joy. Before attending the course, he had a semen analysis showing that the percentage of rapidly progressive sperm was only about 3.8%. After learning stress release methods and practicing the techniques taught in the course, he was retested and the percentage of rapidly progressive sperm increased to 15%.
Subsequently, his family welcomed a healthy baby boy. For him and his family, this was an immense happiness, as for nearly 10 years before, the couple had been unable to have children.
Infertility is a complex medical issue that can involve the male partner, female partner, or both. The WHO states that about 1 in 6 people worldwide experience infertility in their lifetime; causes can be related to sperm, ovulation, fallopian tubes, hormones, age, medical conditions, lifestyle, or unidentified factors. (WHO) [https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/infertility]
Stress and male reproductive health
Mr. Quang's story points to an important perspective: stress not only affects mental state, sleep, and emotions but can also impact the body through multiple biological systems including nervous, endocrine, immune, and behavioral pathways.
For male reproductive health, semen quality can be influenced by many factors: medical conditions, infections, hormones, varicocele, medications, alcohol, tobacco, temperature, sleep, nutrition, weight, stress, and environmental factors. Therefore, reducing stress, sleeping better, living more regularly, and stabilizing mental state can be part of supporting overall health, including reproductive health.
However, caution is needed: the improvement in semen analysis or having a child after the course is Mr. Quang and his family's personal experience, not evidence that mind-body methods can cure all cases of infertility. Infertility requires evaluation by andrologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, or reproductive medicine specialists to determine causes and appropriate treatment directions.
When mind-body tension is released, belief returns
Mr. Quang wrote that after the course, "stagnant energies" were released. In mind-body language, this can be understood as: prolonged stress, worry, fear, insomnia, and anxiety can keep the body in a constant state of "tension." When the body is guided to relax, emotions are named, stress is reduced, and the learner gains new belief, the nervous system can stabilize.
A person who sleeps better, is less fearful, less tense, and has regained hope typically also changes their way of living: breathing more deeply, moving more comfortably, communicating more gently, caring for their body better, and maintaining positive motivation longer. These changes are not "miracies" separate from the body but the result of the body and mind being brought into a more favorable state for recovery.
Excerpt from Mr. Tran Van Quang's reflection
"First, I would like to send my most sincere gratitude to the Teacher and the Center."
"Recently, I have suffered from many conditions: cervical herniated disc, cerebrovascular dysregulation, sympathetic nervous system disorder..."
"Many nights I had to sit for hours with the lights on, afraid to sleep."
"After three days of learning, I applied EFT therapy and listened to the Teacher's lectures. I went up to the building again, and this time I felt completely normal, energized, and joyful."
"Since then, I have slept very well, waking up feeling refreshed."
"After the course, I had my sperm retested, and my rapidly progressive sperm increased to 15%. And the evidence is that my family has just welcomed a healthy baby boy."
"For nearly 10 years we could not have children... Once again, I sincerely thank Teacher Quan and the Center."
The value of the "Igniting a New Vitality" course
The "Igniting a New Vitality" course helps students access various mind-body practice methods: self-hypnosis, EFT, deep relaxation, stress release, positive suggestion, emotion regulation, and recognition of body responses.
For those living with anxiety, insomnia, aches, stress, fear, or despair, the first value of the course is helping them regain a sense of agency. Instead of passively enduring symptoms, students learn to observe their bodies, name their emotions, practice to calm their nervous system, and cultivate more positive beliefs.
Mr. Tran Van Quang's story is one of the particularly remarkable testimonials: from insomnia, fear, dizziness, and loss of balance to sleeping well, feeling energized, helping family members, and welcoming the joy of fatherhood after many years of waiting.
Scientific and safety note
The content of this article is the personal reflection of the student and his family after the course. Results may vary depending on the individual, health condition, cause of infertility, medical history, stress level, ability to practice, lifestyle, and post-course maintenance.
Methods such as self-hypnosis, EFT, deep relaxation, stress release, and positive suggestion should be understood as tools to support mind-body health. They do not replace medical examination, diagnosis, medication, andrological treatment, obstetrics-gynecology care, fertility support, neurological treatment, vestibular treatment, or medical intervention when necessary.
Couples experiencing infertility should be evaluated on both sides, including andrological examination, semen analysis, hormone testing, gynecological assessment, ovulation evaluation, fallopian tube assessment, and related factors. People with dizziness, loss of balance, nighttime shortness of breath, night sweats, neck pain, numbness or weakness, neurological disorders, or persistent symptoms should be evaluated by a specialist.
